Mexican chicken jug, handpainted and fully glazed earthenware, 25cm high.
A similar jug was spotted by Chuck Williams (Williams & Sonoma) in the bar of Rome's famed Hotel Hassler, where patrons delighted in asking for whiskeys with "chicken water."
