Medium-sized fish-shaped dish. The green glaze and burnt effect brown glaze of the head and fins are typical of pottery made in the Dieulefit area of the South of France in the early to the mid-20th century. The dishes measure 22cm x 10cm and have some small chips consistent with age and use.
