Abstract Flared Vase

This abstract flared vase designed by Frank Thrower in 1968 is an iconic piece of vintage glass. Thrower was chief designer and co-director of Dartington Glass from the mid-Sixties onwards and designed many of their most collectible designs. This vase is in a stunning blue, almost aquamarine colour, called Kingfisher Blue, and features a square body with a flared neck.

Each facet of the cube has a different design in a raised and textured pattern. It measures approx. 5" high with a 3" square base. It is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
