Mid century Stag ‘S’ Range Sideboard

Large Sixties ‘S’ range sideboard designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture and retailed by Heals. The ‘S’ range had a relatively short manufacturing period in the early Sixties between 1960-63 and has never been reissued or reproduced making it today a highly collectible collection.
The sideboard features nickel-plated V-shaped legs and L-shaped door handles. The handles were custom made to ensure a perfect recessed fit on the top of the drawer and door fronts. The interior surfaces are veneered with beech to create a pleasing contrast to the darker teak exterior. It comes complete with two original pullout trays with blue baize lining and four sets of drawers, including the original cutlery tray.
It comes in excellent restored condition and retains the original Stag Furniture plate.
