Frank Guille Kitchen Cabinet

Frank Guille was a leading British furniture designer of the Fifties and Sixties. He was Head of Furniture Design at the Royal College of Art and established his own company manufacturing his own designs for Heals and Kendya Ltd. His designs were shaped by his belief in the three principles of function, utility and simplicity.

His elegant furniture was visually simple yet elegant. Many of his designs were showcased at 1951 Festival of Britain. Nowadays, Guille's furniture is fiercely sought after by collectors as, sadly, not many of the high quality items remain.
