Iconic Halabala 1930s H269 armchair by Thonet. Designed in 1931 by Jindrich Halabala. Solid beech wood armrests, bent to become sinuously part of the base.

During the 1930s, Jindřich Halabala (1903 -1978) developed the modular series H and E, as well as various types of wooden and tubular steel pieces, inspired by Bauhaus designers Mart Stam and Marcel Breuer.

Restored and carefully re-upholstered
