Mary Remington RA (1910–2003), Roses in the Ginger Jar, oil painting, signed recto, label verso. This is typical of Remington's still lifes of everyday objects.

Mary Remington (née Beard) was born in Reigate in 1910. She studied at the Redhill school of Art, at the RCA and at the Académie de la Grand Chaumière in Paris. She lived in Sutton, Surrey. and her works can be found in public and private collections.
