Studio Pottery Soup Mug

Tintagel Pottery was established in 1948 by the Norwegian potter, Egil Cunningham Quam, and Kathleen Everard at Bossiney Court a few hundred yards up the road from Tintagel Castle, which according to local legend was the home of King Arthur. Enid Mutton joined the pottery in 1948 and, with her partner Roger Howard, took over the company in the Seventies.

The pottery is noted for its distinctive dragon designs. This piece is a great example of their work and probably dates from the 1980s
