I Know I Saw You

Caroline Kennedy is a transdisciplinary artist working across painting, song, composition/performance and writing. She studied literature at Melbourne University and painting RMIT University. She has a PhD in Fine Art from the Monash University School of Art, Design and Architecture (MADA) in  Melbourne, Australia.

Caroline's painting evoke utopian and individuated worlds. Her shifting pictorial significtions offer expanding, mysterious and open narratives that unfold in real time. She is inspired by historial concepts of landscape as idealised, constructed and politiicised. Her paintings constitute and intervention into landscape as an idea, developing an immersive, intuitive pictorial language using colours and visual codes from diverse histories.
