An Art Deco mirrored glass globe with decorative copper hanging attachment, complete with wall bracket.
These balls were intended to be suspended in a window or dark corner where they would reflect away evil and ill-fortune. Superstition has it that the ball will itself attract the ill-luck that would otherwise have fallen on the household, so needs to be regularly wiped clean!
