Sidholme was built in 1826 in Sidmouth, Devon. It was originally called Richmond Lodge and was home to the Rev Augustus Hobart, the 6th Earl of Buckinghamshire and his second wife and growing family A splendid example of Regency grandeur, it was brought by banker Benjamin Davidson in 1877 who renamed it Sidholme.
